Descripción
Charles Lutwidge Dodgson wrote this wonderful tale under the pen name of Lewis Carroll. It was written for Alice Liddell, the daughter of a fellow college professor at the University of Oxford in England and first published in 1871. The full title of the book is Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There. It was a sequel to Carroll’s original tale Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. In this new story, Alice climbs through a mirror into a world where everything is upside-down. In this sequel, we see a mirror-image of Wonderland populated by some of the strangest creatures in fiction and considered the finest example of the “literary nonsense” genre.
